Justice Cheekati Manavendranath Roy was sworn in as a judge of the Andhra Pradesh High Court by Chief Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur on Monday.

Justice Manavendranath Roy served as the Registrar General of the High Court from July 2015 to June 2019, when he was elevated to the Bench. He was transferred to the Gujarat High Court in November 2023 and has now been repatriated to the Andhra Pradesh High Court.

Among those present at the swearing-in ceremony were High Court judges, Advocate General Dammalapati Srinivas, Additional Solicitor General Challa Dhananjaya, High Court Bar Association President K. Chidambaram, Additional Advocate General E. Sambasiva Pratap, Bar Council Chairman N. Dwarakanatha Reddy, and High Court Registrar General Parthasarathy.
