Justin Baldoni, the actor embroiled in the legal case with Blake Lively, had a body double on the sets of ‘It Ends with Us’ who recently opened up about what happened behind the scenes. Thomas Canestraro shared insights about how the atmosphere felt a bit tense when he worked on the set.
Blake Lively was 'more closed off'
According to Daily Mail, Thomas joined in the last two weeks of filming in early 2024 as Baldoni's body double. He revealed that Blake Lively closed off during the shoot, and could feel the discomfort on the set. “You could tell that the set was tense. There was some discomfort from everybody,” he stated.It was Canestraro who was thrown off by Lively in the action-packed sequence between Lily Bloom and Ryle Kincaid. During the scene, the stunt double felt the tension, but he perceived that the 2023 writer’s strike made the actress upset, who is otherwise known for being professional.

Nonetheless, Thomas sensed that something had happened between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni. Originally, the shoot was scheduled to be of five days; however, it extended to two weeks. “What I did experience was filming that was taking longer than expected. What's happening here? Why are we taking so much time to film all of this scene? Why are we not on schedule?”Thomas additionally mentioned that he had worked with Blake during the shoot of ‘A Simple Favor,’ and the actress made sure that he received proper arrangements.
However, during ‘It Ends With Us,’ she seemed a bit off than usual.

Furthermore, Thomas mentioned the presence of Ryan Reynolds on the set, which was usual. However, post the legal case, it led him to think about the conditions were so disastrous that he had to make sure Blake was fine on the set.
