K Chandrasekhar Rao appears before panel probing 'irregularities' in Kaleshwaram project

Former Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) has appeared before the PC Ghosh Commission investigating alleged irregularities in the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project. Thousands of BRS supporters gathered at BRK Bhavan in Hyderabad, calling the probe politically motivated. The Kaleshwaram project, claimed to be the world's largest lift irrigation project, was a flagship initiative of KCR's government, irrigating over 2 million acres annually.
