Vaishnavi Chaitanya and Anand Deverakonda are gearing up for the release of their upcoming romance drama, ‘Epic,’ directed by Aditya Haasan. As the film is set to hit theatres this summer, the makers recently unveiled the movie's teaser, giving a glimpse into the college romance abroad.
Vaishnavi Chaitanya on playing Kadali
In the film, Vaishnavi Chaitanya plays a girl named Kadali. She shared her feelings about the role in simple words during the teaser release. As per a Cinema Express report, she said, “Kadali is a beautiful character. When I heard the story, I felt she exists within me. She is very independent and knows what she is doing. It’s not just me — I believe every girl can relate to Kadali.”A memorable shooting experienceShe also said, “When I heard the story of ‘Epic,’ I knew I wanted to be a part of it.
I really liked it.” She added, “I never felt like I was going to work while shooting for ‘Epic.’ It gave me some truly memorable experiences.”
Anand Deverakonda plays her love interest, Aditya. Vaishnavi said, “Aditya and his parents’ roles are designed very well. When you watch the film, I’m sure you’ll relate to those characters.” She also spoke about the friend scenes. “The scenes between Aditya and his friends are very realistic.
Everyone will feel that they have such friends in their own lives.” Talking about the team, she said, “It felt like a get-together of friends.”
About the 'Epic' teaser
The makers have already shared the first single from the film, ‘Sancharame,’ which has received a very positive response. This film is special because Vaishnavi and Anand are working together again after their hit film ‘Baby’. Fans are excited to see them together once more.
Their chemistry was loved before and now people are waiting to see their magic again on screen.The teaser shows the fun and close interactions between the leads as they nurture their relationship. They are seen spending time with their friends. As they live in the UK for their education, Anand's character is also shown having a fun interaction with his parents when they video call him at the wrong time.‘EPIC’ is coming to theatres this summer with a tagline, “Most Relatable Love Story.”
