Kalakka Povathu Yaaru fame Bala set to play the lead in Sherief's Gandhi Kannadi

Popular television comedian Bala, who shot to fame with Kalakka Povathu Yaaru Season 6, is all set to make his lead debut in director Sherief’s upcoming film Gandhi Kannadi. Touted to be an emotional crime drama set against the backdrop of political elections, the film features Seththumaan fame Namita Krishnamurthy as the female lead.The film brings together a strong ensemble cast, including Namita Krishnamurthy, Archana, Nikhila Sankar, Balaji Sakthivel, Jeeva Subramanian, Aradhya, Amudhavaanan, Manoj Prabhu, and Madhan. The technical crew features Balaji K Raja handling the cinematography and Shivanandeeswaran as the editor.Bala, who won the hearts of audiences with his unique humour and expressive comic timing, rose to prominence through Kalakka Povathu Yaaru, where he emerged as the title winner alongside his teammate Vinoth.
