Veteran actor and Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) party founder Kamal Haasan has officially filed his nomination for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections. As part of the process, he submitted a detailed affidavit disclosing his assets and liabilities.

As per Filmi Beat, the declaration revealed that the actor-turned-politician currently has liabilities amounting to ₹49 crore, drawing public attention.

Kamal also mentioned that he holds four commercial buildings in Chennai, including two in Alwarpet and one each in Uthandi and Sholinganallur.
