Kannada Sahitya Sammelena: ‘Belladarati’ to be released in Mysuru on August 24

The souvenir ‘Belladarati’, brought out in commemoration of the 87th Akhila Bharata Kannada Sahitya Sammelana held in December last year, will be released on Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Ambedkar Bhavan here.

B.C. Shivanandamurthy, Additional Deputy Commissioner and Chairman of the Souvenir Committee said that the function will be graced by the president of the Sammelana Go. Ru. Channabasappa, Nirmalanandanatha Swami of Sri Adichunchanagiri Math, Minister in charge of Mandya district N. Cheluvarayaswamy, and other representatives of the district.

Farmer organisations, pro-Kannada organisations, Kannada teachers of schools and colleges, literature enthusiasts, pro-Kannada activists, writers, scholars, members of Kannada Sahitya Parishat, and the general public have been urged to participate in large numbers.
