Vishnu Manchu's mythological epic 'Kannappa' was released and opened up to be his biggest outing yet. While the second half of the film and Prabhas' cameo received praise, the movie has been slightly called out for the inconsistent visual effects in some sequences.
Recently Vishnu revealed that he, along with the director and editor, had to drop some of the film's "excellent scenes" due to underwhelming VFX output."sacrificed some excellent scenes"Speaking at a recent press meet in Hyderabad, the actor-producer opened up about the creative compromises made during the film's final stages. According to a report by Hindustan Times, Vishnu said, "The editor, director, and I sacrificed some excellent scenes in the film because the VFX was not on the level we expected it to be."
The decision, he added, was a tough but necessary one, especially for a film built on a grand mythological scale.Lesson learnedWhile the actor didn't specify which scenes were removed, his remarks suggest that the team had aimed higher in terms of visual storytelling but had to pull back to avoid decreasing the overall cinematic experience."It's a massive lesson for me, though. It's such a lesson that I'll never repeat that mistake again", he said.
