Karnataka DRI raids jewellery shop in Nellore

A team from the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI), Karnataka conducted a surprise raid on a jewellery shop located at Mandapala Veedhi in Nellore on Monday. The investigation is related to a gold smuggling case.

As per the information provided by reliable sources, the team searched for the National Jewellery Shop in the city for evidence of smuggled gold. During the operations, the team seized hard disks, ledgers, and other material from the shop.

Shopowner Bavish Jain was questioned by the DRI team. However, no official statement has been released to the media by the Karnataka DRI team. Nellore One-Town police personnel were also present during the operations.
