Earlier in the day, 11 FIRs were registered over unnatural death after 11 people died and several were injured in a stampede outside the Bengaluru stadium.

The event, organised by the Karnataka State Cricket Association, turned into a tragedy after an overwhelming crowd appeared outside the Bengaluru Stadium. Free passes, overcrowding and limited seats at the stadium resulted in the deadly situation.

Celebrations were planned in Bengaluru to mark RCB’s first victory in 18 years in the IPL. However, the moment of joy turned into tragedy after chaos erupted outside the stadium, leading to a stampede situation.
