Karnataka: VISL sets up eye check-up camp for its employees

The Visvesvaraya Iron and Steel Limited (VISL) at Bhadravati, a subsidiary of Steel Authority of India Limited, set up an eye check-up camp for its employees on Wednesday, October 15.

Shankara Eye Hospital in Shivamogga conducted the camp in association with VISL Hospital. As many as 143 employees and contract labourers utilised the services offered by the organisers.

The hospital staff conducted Titmus eye test of the employees, besides checking their blood pressure and blood sugar levels. Meghana, ophthalmologist at Shankar Eye Hospital, also offered expert medical advice to them.
