Speaking about his experience of working with Suriya in a chat with NDTV, RJ Balaji had nothing but admiration for the star. He said, “Suriya sir is a very caring superstar. He cares for his fellow artists, directors, technicians, producers, and everyone on the set. Even when this film faced several difficulties, it was released because of his magnanimity.” He further added, “That generosity can be seen on screen too.

He gave space to every character and trusted the script completely. For him, the story is always more important than personal screen time.” RJ Balaji also revealed that Suriya fully understood the vision behind the film and supported the idea of appearing only in key moments that would have a stronger impact on audiences.
