Kerala CM condemns assassination attempt on former J&K CM Farooq Abdullah

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Thursday condemned the assassination attempt on former Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah.

In a post shared on X, Mr. Vijayan said: “Deeply shocked to hear about the assassination attempt on former J&K CM Dr. Farooq Abdullah. It is a matter of grave concern how such a security breach occurred despite him having Z+ NSG protection. This incident raises serious questions that demand immediate answers from the authorities. We stand in complete solidarity with Farooq Sahab and his family. Such acts of violence have no place in our democracy. Wishing him good health and safety,” he said.
