Kerala Congress to stage massive protest

As part of its intensifying protests against the Left Democratic Front (LDF) government ahead of the local boy elections, the Kerala Congress (KC) will organise a protest meeting at Thirunakkara in Kottayam on October 25. The protest will highlight the alleged violation of promises by the LDF government and its anti-people activities.

Addressing mediapersons in Kottayam on Tuesday, party leaders said KC chairperson P.J. Joseph will inaugurate the meeting to be held at 3 p.m. Working chairperson P.C. Thomas will preside over the event.

Executive chairperson Mons Joseph, MLA, will deliver the keynote address. Secretary general Joy Abraham, deputy chairperson T.U. Kuruvila, Francis George, MP, State coordinator Apu John Joseph and others will speak on the occasion. The party’s State, district, assembly and ward level office-bearers as well as leaders of feeder organisations will participate in the mass protest.
