After enjoying a successful theatrical run, Vijay Devarakonda’s ‘Kingdom’ is ready for its OTT release. Starring Satyadev, Bhagyashri Borse, and Venkitesh along with Vijay in the lead role, the movie made it to the theatres on July 31st, 2025.

‘Kingdom’ OTT release date and platform details

This high-octane action drama with a gripping tale will be made available for online streaming on Netflix from August 27. The said OTT platform took to X (formerly called Twitter) to make the announcement. Along with the poster, the caption reads -“In the kingdom of gold, blood and fire… a new king rises from the ashes.”The poster also shares that the movie will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam. Also, it is worth noting that this OTT release announcement came on the 8th anniversary of Vijay's ‘Arjun Reddy’ and the 3rd anniversary of his Bollywood debut ‘Liger.’

About ‘Kingdom’

Gowtam Tinnanuri directed ‘Kingdom’ is a Telugu spy action thriller that tells the tale of Suri (Vijay), a constable who becomes a spy and embarks on a perilous mission to Sri Lanka in search of his long-lost brother, Siva (Satyadev).

While in Sri Lanka, he unexpectedly gets involved with Murugan (Venkitesh), the son of cartel leader Odiyappan (Baburaj). This leads to unwanted and unavoidable complications in the mission. Along the way, he receives assistance from Dr. Madhu (Bhagyashri), who develops feelings for him.

‘Kingdom’ box office and review

According to Sacnilk, ‘Kingdom’ made a collection of Rs 82.02 crore worldwide in its lifetime. Breaking it down, Rs 60.79 crore came from India and Rs 21.25 crore from overseas screening. Further, amid the mixed response, ‘Kingdom’ got a 3.5-star rating from TOI.
