Kodagu university receives award for excellence and leadership in higher education

MADIKERI: The Dr S. Radhakrishnan Award and Certificate of Excellence were presented in Bengaluru in recognition of the continuous progress of Kodagu University and the leadership of Vice Chancellor Ashok Sangappa Alur.

This was at the Emerging Socially Conscious University and Teachers’ Day Excellence Awards 2025 programme organised by the Indian Training and Development Association, Bengaluru.Kodagu University has distinguished itself as one of the most progressive universities in the top tier. Over the past two years, it demonstrated the true spirit of higher education by empowering the rural community through knowledge, innovation, and active participation in innovative projects.The university made significant progress in formulating vocational and skill-based programmes, expanding the reach of higher education, and adopting future-oriented initiatives, including sustainability and green practices.The Indian Association for Training and Development (IATD) felicitated Ashok Sangappa Alur for his guidance, continuous pursuit of academic excellence, and transformative role in shaping the future of education.
