Kolkata shocker: Student raped inside law college; three held, including staffer

KOLKATA: A student was allegedly raped within the premises of a law college in Kolkata, prompting the arrest of two students and a staff member who is also an alumnus of the institution.As per the police, an FIR was filed based on the student’s complaint, naming all three accused. Investigations revealed that one of the accused committed the assault, while the others were involved in abetting the incident.

The arrested men include two current students and a staffer who had previously studied at the same college. All three were taken into custody on Thursday.(The victim's identity has not been revealed to protect her privacy as per Supreme court directives on cases related to sexual assault)
