One of the biggest hit songs of the film, ‘Golden’, was played as the girls pulled the lever and lit up the iconic tower.A video of the show was shared on the building’s official social media account and ended up going viral online soon after. As per amNewYork reports, the director shared his excitement over the event, stating, "I think it’s really awesome to have a symbol like the Empire State Building lit golden, just to kind of bring everybody in the city together and have a moment with music connecting us all, because it does do that. And really, really happy and proud that the movies sort of played on most of that."
