Kristen Doute welcomes first child with fiancé Luke Broderick

Kristen Doute has confirmed the birth of her first child with fiancé Luke Broderick. The Valley star, 42, announced the news on Friday, June 13, through a post on Instagram.In the post, Doute wrote, “We’ve never known a love like this until you,” and revealed the name of their newborn daughter as Kaia Lily Broderick.Previously in June, Doute had talked with an online portal- People regarding how she was getting ready for the arrival of her baby. She had said then, "I am very prepared. I'm not going to lie, and I think that it's great for moms not to sugarcoat anything. I am physically miserable.Luke Broderick also spoke about his observations in the same interview, stating, "She says all the time that she feels 'large and in charge.' She's very aware of her body at this moment."Doute said that, even though she was prepared, she was apprehensive about giving birth. "I would say I'm the most nervous about actually giving birth, just what the experience is going to be. You can have a plan, but there really isn't a plan at the end of the day. It's all up to her," she said.When asked what she was most excited about, Doute responded, “I would say I’m the most excited about no longer being pregnant! And, as I’ve said before, just seeing what her personality will be like.”Broderick added that he was looking forward to meeting their daughter, stating, “I can’t wait to touch her and interact with her. I’m very excited.”
