Hrithik Roshan will be in his role as Krishna Mehra, aka Krrish, in the fourth installment of the franchise. While there was no news about the film except that Hrithik will be making his directorial debut with it, a latest revelation from Rakesh Roshan has left everyone excited for the movie. Apart from giving an update on the production, the filmmaker also shared when the film will be released in theaters.Let's take a look at what he said in detail.
Rakesh Roshan reveals when 'Krrish 4' will release
In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Rakesh Roshan dropped a massive update on 'Krrish 4'. He shared that the scripting of the film "didn't take a lot of time." He added that the pressure of budgeting was the major concern. The filmmaker further stated that since the team now has the definite budget that is required for the movie, they "will be starting the film."In the same interview, Sr Roshan also mentioned that the pre-production work is going on in full swing.
Elaborating on the same, he added that the work before they start rolling is quite extensive, and one needs to be fully prepared. He shared that the film will go on floors in mid next year.When Rakesh Roshan was asked if the filming will continue till the end of 2026, he replied, "We plan to release it in 2027."

Meanwhile, as per the India Today report, this time, Hrithik will be seen essaying triple roles in the movie. Reportedly, the original cast, like Preity Zinta, Priyanka Chopra, Vivek Oberoi, and Rekha, will be back again for the fourth installment, reprising their roles.
The report stated that the makers are planning to switch the lead hero between past and future timelines in this upcoming part.
