KTR slams Musi development project plans, warns against mass demolitions

Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president K.T. Rama Rao asserted that the Musi rejuvenation project can be taken up without demolishing even a single house, criticising the State government led by A. Revanth Reddy for allegedly preparing to raze nearly 1.5 lakh homes in the name of riverfront development.

The former minister alleged that while the previous government’s model focused on development without displacement, the Congress model is implementing the ‘bulldozer raj’ targeting poor families.
