'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2' 16th May: Rio uncovers the truth as Pari's wedding brings back memories

In this episode of 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi', the story begins when Tulsi talks to Mihir over the phone. Mihir tells her that he will not be able to join them on the wedding day. Tulsi scolds him a little but promises to send him all the photos and videos from the wedding.

The letter A brings back memories

As everyone prepares for Pari's mehndi ceremony, the mehndi artist asks for the groom's name to write on her hands. Pari asks the artist to write only the letter A instead. When Ajay's family arrives, they meet Pari and Aryan. Ajay notices the letter A on Pari's hand and remembers how she had the same written during their wedding. As Pari talks to Ajay's family, Aryan looks a little jealous. But when Pari asks him about it, Aryan assures her that he is not worried about Ajay and his family being there.

Pari and Aryan get engaged

Tulsi then asks Pari and Aryan to organize an engagement ceremony since they did not exchange rings earlier owing to the rush. As they exchange rings, Ajay remembers when he got engaged to Pari. The moment brings back painful memories for him.

Rio discovers the truth

After Pari's engagement, Karan returns to Rio and Niyati. Rio has been waiting for him and asks him to answer his questions. Rio shows Karan the passenger list from the plane, where Karan claimed his father, Ansh, had passed away.

When questioned, Karan admits that Ansh left the world on May 13th. Rio continues asking questions, and Karan asks if Rio trusts him. Rio says that Karan has done a lot for him, but he still wants to know the truth.

Rio tells him he is going through a lot and needs answers.

A promise of silence

Karan makes Rio swear that he will not ask anyone else about his father, Ansh. Rio promises that he will never ask questions about his father again and keeps the secret to himself.

Karan's stress shows

The next day, when Karan goes to the Virani house, Nandini notices that he looks tense. She understands that he might be stressed because he is trying to handle difficult situations on both sides. Karan thanks Nandini for understanding his situation and goes to rest. The episode ends with Tulsi asking Sobha to call Indira Ben after noticing that Pari looks tense before her wedding.
