Labourer hammered to death in a drunken brawl

A 33-year-old labourer was hammered to death during a fight with his friend while they were drunk, at an under-construction house at Tarabanahalli in Varthur on Tuesday, the police said.

The deceased, Jitendra Pandey, a native of Bihar, had come to Bengaluru a week ago. The police are looking for the accused, Seetharam Pandey, who is on the run.
