As of now, all members of the popular K-pop group EXO have officially been discharged from their mandatory military service. Sehun, the youngest member of the group, is the last one to finalize his enlistment and officially return back to civil life.
Sehun finishes military enlistment
On September 20, the singer was officially released from his military service, making him the last member to do so from EXO. The idol announced his comeback to civilian life through an online social media post.He ended up sharing a story on his personal account that held a photo of his beloved dog Vivi. Along with that, the idol also added another photo of him spending time in the recording studio.
Fans were elated to find the online update from the singer. Many even speculated that Sehun could already be on the path of making new music, as per the photos shared from the studio.As per reports from Koreaboo, in order to celebrate his return, the idol will be holding a special live stream on September 21, at 8 pm KST. The live stream will be held by Sehun, who will also be joined by some of his fellow members from EXO. Suho, Kai, and Chanyeol will join the youngest member of the group to greet and connect with fans.Sehun enlisted in the military in December 2023 and has since then served as a social service worker rather than doing the usual active soldier duty.
EXO comeback on the way
As Sehun's return marks the reunion of EXO, the group is already gearing up for a comeback next month. The group shared a cryptic post to their main social media account.The group is set for a December comeback this year and even shared a post about it as well, hinting to fans towards a new era that is still connected with their old selves. The teaser had a phrase from their debut music video, 'MAMA,' which read, "When we become true one, a new world awakens."
