Late actor Satish Shah’s prayer meet to be held today; JD Majethia shares details

Veteran actor Satish Shah passed away on October 25, 2025, due to kidney failure. The Sarabhai vs Sarabhai actor’s demise came as a major shock to the entertainment industry and his close ones.

After his funeral, which was held on Sunday (October 26), his prayer meet is set to take place today (October 27).Satish Shah passed away at the age of 74, leaving his fans deeply saddened. Many celebrities, including Rupali Ganguly, Sumeet Raghvan, Rajesh Kumar, and others, attended Satish Shah’s funeral and paid their respects. Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah stars Dilip Joshi and Asit Kumar Modi also mourned the late actor’s demise.

JD Majethia has now shared details about the upcoming prayer meet.Sarabhai vs Sarabhai producer JD Majethia took to Instagram to share details of the late actor’s prayer meet. The post read, “In loving memory of our beloved Satish Shah. We gather to celebrate the life and creative spirit of a man whose work has touched hearts, inspired many minds, and brought beauty to the world of film.”The post confirmed that the Shraddhanjali Kriya (prayer meet) will be held on Monday, October 27, at Jalaram Hall in Juhu, Mumbai, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm.

The note concluded with, “With love and cherished memories, the Shah-Prabhu family and friends.”Satish Shah’s funeral was also attended by his co-stars Ratna Pathak Shah, Rupali Ganguly, Sumeet Raghvan, Deven Bhojani, JD Majethia, and others.
