Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. is truly following in his dad’s legendary footsteps.

The son of football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is making his own mark, earning a call-up to Portugal’s U16 squad for the upcoming Federations Cup in Turkey, the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) confirmed.

At just 15, Cristiano Jr. is already turning heads in the youth ranks of Al-Nassr, the same club where his father continues to dominate the Saudi Pro League.

Earlier this year, he starred for Portugal’s U15 side, scoring two crucial goals in the final of the Vlatko Markovic Tournament, helping his team lift the trophy.

Now, he steps up to the U16 level, joining a 22-player squad that will compete in Turkey from October 30 to November 4 against teams from England, Wales, and the host nation.

For Cristiano Jr., the path seems clear: follow in the footsteps of his father, who remains one of football’s greatest icons.

Ronaldo, who made his own youth international debut with Portugal U15 back in 2001, has set astronomical benchmarks with 143 international goals in 223 caps, two UEFA Nations League titles, and a Euro 2016 crown.

With the elder Ronaldo still scoring prolifically in Saudi Arabia and chasing 1,000 career goals, the possibility of a father-son duo sharing the pitch isn’t as far-fetched as it sounds.

As father and son both pursue their football dreams, fans are left imagining a thrilling future where the Ronaldo legacy continues to shine on club and international stages.
