Lindsey Vonn said her workouts have been “harder than ever” as she pushes toward her return to professional skiing. Speaking to TMZ Sports, she said, “I’m excited to be back. Vonn also explained that this comeback means everything because she wants to finish her career on her own terms. The Olympic champion has already survived numerous injuries, including major knee and leg surgeries.
She had knee replacement surgery in November 2024 and just weeks thereafter declared she was leaving retirement. Early in 2025, doctors authorized her to train, and since then, she has been completely concentrated on the mountains.
With 82 World Cup wins, the most by any female skier and three Olympic medals, Vonn’s legacy is already secure. But she still feels she has more to give. “It’s intense,” she said about her daily grind. “But if this is my last Olympics, I want to do it right.”
