Lionel Messi purchased the mansion in September 2023, according to The Real Deal and Forbes. The mansion is located in Bay Colony, a gated community in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, conveniently near Inter Miami's stadium and training facility.

The villa in question is almost 10,500 sq ft. It has 10 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms, a spa room, and a 3-car garage.The outside has a reasonably sized swimming pool, and if you wait long enough, there is a huge green space where you can simply unwind with friends and family. The villa also comes with features on the inside, too: plenty of huge windows and a really contemporary kitchen, and a lot of space.
Lionel Messi, who moved with his wife Antonela Roccuzzo and their three kids, wanted a home that allowed for some peace and privacy; this villa provided exactly that. A source told The Real Deal, “It’s perfect for a superstar who wants privacy but also comfort.”

Real estate agent Samuel Simpkin from Compass handled the sale. He said, “Messi and his family were looking for something special and secure.
