Liquor bottles worth ₹21.50 lakh destroyed in Kumram Bheem Asifabad district

Chintalamanepalli police destroyed liquor bottles worth over ₹21.50 lakh, seized during a raid at Gudem village during the MLC polls in February this year, in the mandal headquarters town of Kumram Bheem Asifabad district, on Wednesday.

According to sources, a road-roller was used to crush the liquor bottles in compliance with the stipulated procedure.

The entire process was video-recorded in the presence of Superintendent of Police Patil Kantilal Subhash and the district officials of the Prohibition and Excise Department.
