Lok Adalat in Cuddalore, Villupuram on June 14

The District Legal Services Authority will organise a National Lok Adalat in all courts in Cuddalore and Villupuram districts on June 14.

According to a press release, the special sittings will be held in the combined court complex in Cuddalore, and in Chidambaram, Vriddhachalam, Panruti, Thittagudi, Neyveli, Parangipettai, Kattumannarkovil, and Kurunjipadi, apart from the courts in the Villupuram district.

Expeditious resolution

Cases with elements of settlement, including those related to matrimonial disputes, property disputes, motor accident claims, land acquisition, cheque bounce cases, bank loans, and education loans, will be taken up.

The amicable arbitration through the Lok Adalat will lead to expeditious resolution of long-pending litigations and the refund of court fees. It will also provide an amicable resolution for the parties concerned.
