Lokesh releases AP PECET results, 90% qualify test

Officials said 2,396 candidates qualified for BPEd courses, while 259 candidates qualified for DPEd programmes

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh education minister Nara Lokesh on Tuesday released the results of AP Physical Education Common Entrance Test (AP PECET)-2026, with an overall pass percentage of 89.76%.

The test is considered for admission exclusively into sports and physical education courses.Of the 4,037 candidates who registered for the entrance test, 2,958 appeared and 2,655 qualified. Among them, 1,993 men cleared the examination, recording a pass percentage of 92.91%, while 662 women qualified with a pass percentage of 81.43%. The examination was conducted by Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur, on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) from June 3 to 8.Congratulating the successful candidates, Lokesh said the results mark an important milestone for aspirants seeking admission into physical education programmes.Candidates can check their results and download rank cards from the AP PECET website. The results are also available through the state’s WhatsApp governance service 95523 00009. Officials said 2,396 candidates qualified for BPEd courses, while 259 candidates qualified for DPEd programmes.
