Lorry driver found dead inside vehicle in Karnataka

UDUPI: A lorry driver from Davanagere was found dead inside his parked vehicle along NH-66 near Trasi on Friday evening. According to the police, the deceased is Mansoor Ali, 50, a lorry driver. On Thursday, at around 10 pm, he left Davanagere driving a lorry carrying a load of bran intended for a factory at Mandarthi.

However, the lorry did not reach Mandarthi with the load on Friday.Siddarth informed the complainant that the load had not reached Mandarthi and asked him to search for the vehicle. At around 5 pm that evening, the complainant located the lorry parked along NH-66, opposite Shri Gajanana Garage at Trasi village. The driver, Mansoor Ali, was found dead inside the cabin of the truck. It is suspected that he may have died due to health issues or some other reason.A case has been registered at Gangolli Police Station.
