There’s something brewing in Los Angeles — and it’s not just the fact that Matthew Stafford is staying. The Rams are heading into the 2025 season with a loaded offensive unit that’s turning heads across the league.

Sports Illustrated recently named Stafford, Kyren Williams, and Puka Nacua the third-best “offensive triplets” in the NFL, behind only the Eagles and Ravens. That’s without even factoring in Davante Adams. If this group stays healthy, they could wreak havoc on defenses week after week.

Los Angeles Rams’ 2025 offensive trio of Matthew Stafford, Puka Nacua & Kyren Williams could be the NFL’s biggest threat

When Matt Verderame of Sports Illustrated put together his rankings of each team’s offensive triplets — defined as the starting quarterback, lead running back, and top pass-catcher — the Rams landed in the top three.

That’s no small praise in a league full of explosive talent.Matthew Stafford, now 37, is still slinging it like few others can. He threw for over 3,700 yards and 20 touchdowns in 2024, and his arm strength hasn’t gone anywhere. Stafford’s career numbers are elite — top 10 all-time in passing yards and touchdowns — and he’s still capable of taking over games.

Kyren Williams proved last season that he’s more than just a complementary piece. The 2022 fifth-round pick exploded for 1,299 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns, bringing speed, vision, and toughness to the Rams’ backfield.

If he stays healthy, another 1,000-yard season is well within reach. Then there’s Puka Nacua, who might be the most exciting young wideout in the league right now. After setting rookie records in 2023, he backed it up with 990 receiving yards on 79 catches — and he did that in just 11 games. His chemistry with Stafford is already strong, and his ability to stretch the field or make tough catches in traffic makes him a constant threat. With Davante Adams also in the mix, this Rams offense could be terrifying. Stafford’s experience, Williams’ explosiveness, and Nacua’s rising star power make them one of the NFL’s most complete units. If they can stay healthy, don’t be surprised if this group leads L.A. back to serious contention. Also Read: Houston Texans CB Ronald Darby announces surprise retirement after 10 NFL seasons
