‘Lupe Q and the Galactic Earworms’: Sci-fi comedy on the way; Pamela Carolina Martinez and Bif Naked confirmed as cast - REPORT

Bif Naked, Pamela Carolina Martinez, and Joshua Odjick have been confirmed as part of the cast of the upcoming sci-fi comedy Lupe Q and the Galactic Earworms, a quirky film about how to stop an alien invasion.

About ‘Lupe Q and the Galactic Earworms’

According to The Hollywood Reporter, this film centers on a Latinx punk rock band whose chaotic, screaming music unexpectedly becomes humanity’s only weapon against an alien threat. As two extraterrestrial races battle each other while endangering Earth, the band finds itself caught in the middle of the chaos.Pamela Carolina Martinez will play Lupe, the band’s lead singer. Joining the mission are Lupe’s doting abuela, her socialite mother, and a group of unlikely misfits.The production for the project has already started and is currently underway in Vancouver.

Supporting cast members

Some of the other official cast members include, but are not limited to, Andreas Apergis, Lee Majdoub, Alessandro Juliani, Wanda Ayala, Florence Boule-Moineau, and Panta Mosleh. The film has been written by Javier Badillo and Nat Marshik.The creator of the film, Badillo, also shared his thoughts on the film. Speaking to the portal, he said, “Punk rock. Creepy space aliens. Young romance. It’s the underdog-buddy-comedy-space opera I’ve been waiting to write ever since I was an angsty Latin American kid shrieking into a mic and cranking my guitar amp to 11”.
