Lured under false pretences: Two youths stripped, beaten with pipes in Madhya Pradesh; video goes viral, 4 arrested

BHOPAL: Two youths were allegedly stripped and assaulted by a group of men in Bagaspur village, Narsinghpur district. A video of the incident surfaced on Wednesday.The incident occurred on the night of 14 June, around 9.15pm, but the video has only recently come to light.Narsinghpur SP Sandeep Bhuria told TOI that four of the six accused have been arrested. They have been identified as Shivam Yadav, Aamir Khan, Shahzad, and Zaid.According to the complaint filed at Gotegaon police station, the victim, a resident of Bagaspur, said that Vishnu Mehra and Annu Vishwakarma lured him to the spot under the pretext of a fight.However, when he arrived, he encountered three other men , Aamir Khan, Shahzad, and Zaid who began hurling abuses at him.When the victim objected to their behaviour, Aamir allegedly struck him with a riser pipe, while Shahzad and Zaid attacked him with punches and kicks."They kicked me several times in the chest and private parts," the victim stated in his complaint.During the attack, the victim’s friend arrived and tried to intervene. He was reportedly assaulted as well, with Aamir striking him with a riser pipe, causing an injury near his right toe.The main victim also suffered injuries on his back and both hands.
