Madhya Pradesh horror: Child puts hand in snake burrow, succumbs to bite in Chhatarpur

BHOPAL: A five-year-old boy died after a snake bit him when he put his hand inside a burrow while playing in Chhapar village of Chhatarpur district on Wednesday evening.Aditya Rajput had gone to the fields with his father, Jitendra Rajput.

While playing under a tree, he inserted his hand into a snake hole and was bitten on the right hand. The family took him to the nearest primary health centre, but doctors referred him to the district hospital. He died on the way. At the district hospital, doctors declared him dead. A post-mortem was carried out on Thursday afternoon.Family members were working nearby when the incident occurred. They said they took him to the hospital as quickly as they could, but he could not be saved.
