Madhya Pradesh: Industrialist stabbed to death by partner at his home in Indore; wife was out for morning walk

INDORE: An industrialist was stabbed to death by his partner at his apartment in Milan Heights on Saturday morning when his wife was out for a morning walk and their son was asleep in another room.

Additional DCP Amarendra Singh said that the deceased Chirag Jain lived with his family in flat number 806 of Milan Heights. He owned a pipe manufacturing factory on Sanwer Road and had ongoing disputes with his business partner Vivek Jain, a resident of Tilak Nagar.On Saturday morning, Vivek visited Jain’s home on the pretext of discussing the matter. An argument broke out between the two, during which Vivek allegedly picked up a knife from the house and stabbed Chirag multiple times.Jain died on the spot from his injuries, while Vivek fled the scene immediately after the attack.Police said blood was spotted inside the flat by neighbours, who immediately informed the police. The victim’s body was sent for postmortem while a manhunt has been launched to nab the accused.Police said the exact cause of the dispute is yet to be ascertained and further investigation is underway.
