A 10-year-old boy, Shravan Ajit Gavade in Maharashtra's Kolhapur district, died of a heart attack.

Shravan was playing at a Ganpati mandal with other children on Thursday evening when he suddenly fell ill. He ran home and lay down in his mother’s lap, where he took his last breath.

The unexpected death of the young boy has sent shockwaves through Kodoli village and the surrounding areas. Ajit Gavade and his family reside in Vaibhav Nagar, Kodoli. “Shravan was playful and friendly,” said Gajanan Gavade, his uncle.

The tragic loss has left the Gavade family devastated. Ajit Gavade had two children, a son and a daughter. Their daughter passed away four years ago, and now, with the death of their only son Shravan, the family is plunged into deep grief.
