Mahila Phagunotsav clocks sales of Rs3 cr

The Mahila Udyami Phagunotsav 2026 in Patna concluded successfully, drawing hundreds of women entrepreneurs from across India. Featuring 225 stalls, the five-day event facilitated over Rs 3.87 crore in sales. Recognizing outstanding achievements, the fair celebrated women's entrepreneurial spirit and provided a vital platform for business growth and confidence building, culminating in a festive atmosphere ahead of Holi.

Patna: The Mahila Udyami Phagunotsav 2026, organised by the Bihar Mahila Udyog Sangh, concluded at Gyan Bhawan on Monday.The five-day event brought together hundreds of women entrepreneurs from Uttar Pradesh, Assam, Kashmir, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Jharkhand and Bihar.

As many as 225 stalls were set up with support from MSME, NABARD, and the Bihar govt.

The fair recorded total sales of over Rs3.87 crore.In the stall rankings, Roshni of Jiya Creation secured first place, followed by Smita Lal of Sushmi Creation in second place and Pooja of Dora Sutra in third. Mala Sinha, Shreetama Roy and Ananya were honoured with the ‘Stree Shakti Samman’.Chief guest and legislative councillor Anamika Singh said the stalls at the fair symbolised not just business ventures but “the flight of women’s dreams”.

She noted that women entrepreneurs showcased a wide range of products throughout the event.Indu Agrawal, vice-president of the Bihar Mahila Udyog Sangh, said such platforms boost women’s confidence and provide them an opportunity to market their products on a larger scale. She added that the fair received an encouraging response from visitors and witnessed steady footfall over the five days.The programme concluded with participants celebrating the upcoming Holi.
