Maitrivanam drain to be remodelled

Commissioner of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation R.V. Karnan has asked the Engineering wing to prepare plans for remodelling of the drain at Maitrivanam, Ameerpet, in order to address the flooding issue there.

Mr. Karnan inspected the drain on Tuesday, along with Zonal Commissioner Anurag Jayanti, Chief Engineer Sahadev Ratnakar, and technical consultant.

He held deliberations on the blockages against free flow of storm water, and the possible solutions, and issued instructions for the remodelling, a press note informed.
