Box office climbs to Rs 10.25 crore in just two days
As reported by the Sacnilk website 'Kalamkaval' is registering exceptional growth at the box office.The movie hhad solid Rs 5-crore opening. Later, it collected an early estimate of Rs 5.25 crore on day two. This marks a Rs 25-lakh jump from its debut day. This takes the total net collection to an impressive Rs 10.25 crore in just 48 hours.The film had 30.01% in the morning on day 2 and 44.02% in the afternoon.
The Mammootty starrer had 56.73% occupancy in the evening and peaked at 66.53% during night shows on day 2.
Powerful villain role steals the spotlight
The movie is set against the backdrop of a Kerala police investigation in the early 2000s. The lead actor Vinayakan also delivers a stunning performance as Officer Jayakrishnan.
