According to the Bowenpally police, the incident was reported around 9.30 p.m. when Junaid’s father-in-law, Syed Atheekuddin, 52, brother-in-law, Syed Sohail, 30, and uncle, Syed Rafiq, arrived at his residence and assaulted him with knives.
Inspector N. Tirupathi Raju said that Junaid married Syeda Samreen Bano in 2018, and the couple have three children aged 6 years, 4 years, and 8 months. There reportedly have been ongoing matrimonial disputes between the couple, with Samreen accusing her husband of both mental and physical harassment.
