Man found dead at Tunga Nagar in Shivamogga

A person was found dead at Tunga Nagar in Shivamogga on Sunday morning. The deceased has been identified as Manikantha, 38, a construction worker.

The incident came to light when one of his nephews, who resides in the neighbourhood, arrived at his place with morning tea. It is suspected that unknown persons murdered him by throwing large rocks at him.

Manikanth was unmarried and stayed with his brother. On Saturday night, he was alone at home.

Tunga Nagar police reached the spot along with fingerprint experts and a dog squad. They collected information from the local people. Additional SP Anil Kumar Bhoomareddy also visited the spot.
