The Medical College police on Sunday (October 26, 2025) arrested a 26-year-old man from Eranhikkal accused of sexually abusing a woman from Malappuram district. The suspect, identified as Ananthakrishnan, reportedly exploited the woman with a promise to marry her. Police sources said the man came in contact with the woman through a social media app. The alleged sexual exploitation took place in a lodge at Pottammal in Kozhikode district, they added.
