Man held under POCSO Act

The Aluva Police on Sunday (June 1) arrested a 40-year-old man, who was reportedly in a live-in relationship with a woman, on charges of repeatedly sexually abusing her teenage daughter.

The accused, reportedly employed as an ambulance driver, was booked under the provisions of the POCSO Act after the 14-year-old girl disclosed her ordeal to a relative, who then informed her mother.
