Man murdered at Juhu bus-stop over old rivalry; accused arrested

MUMBAI: A 27-year-old man was murdered at a bus stop near Nehru Nagar slum at Juhu early Sunday. Juhu Police acted swiftly and took the accused, Parmeshwar Devendra, into custody the same day.

Parmeshwar and the deceased, Krishna Devendra, were acquaintances. Police said the two had prior enmity which was a cause of Sunday's incident.Around 4 am, Krishna was seated at the bus stop when Parmeshwar allegedly stabbed him with a knife. Krishna was later pronounced dead by doctors.
