Man stabbed to death, 2 injured in brawl between groups in Delhi’s Bawana

NEW DELHI: A 29-year-old man was stabbed to death and two others were injured after a fight broke out between two groups in Bawana’s JJ Colony on Saturday night, police said. During patrolling, a police team rushed to the spot after being alerted about the attack and found three men with stab wounds. They were taken to Maharishi Valmiki Hospital, where one of them, Niyaz, was declared brought dead. The other two, Tosin (20) and Nihal (34), were later shifted to LNJP Hospital.

Police have arrested two accused, Toshif and Arru, while a third is on the run. “Initial probe suggests the fight stemmed from personal rivalry,” an officer said. The deceased’s body has been kept at the hospital mortuary for postmortem. Additional police teams have been deployed in the area to maintain law and order.
