Mandate in Pala was for LDF: Jose K Mani

Kochi: Kerala Congress (M) chairman Jose K Mani said on Sunday that the people’s mandate in the Pala municipality was in favour of LDF since the front secured more seats.He said that KC (M) itself holds 10 seats. However, there is no interest for the party to form an independent front in this municipality and that is the reason for them not forming alliances to govern the municipality.Mani said that he does not think that it is UDF that is governing the municipality. It is an independent front that is governing that local body, and whatever issues they are facing are their internal matter, he said. Neither LDF nor KC (M) is willing to make any deals with that front, he added.
