Masked men wielding weapons seen roaming in residential areas near Coimbatore at night

COIMBATORE: Panic gripped residents of Pattanam in Coimbatore district after the emergence of CCTV footage of two masked men wielding weapons roaming in the area at night.Windows of a few houses at Srinivasa Garden in Pattanam were broken on Wednesday night. Following this, the residents checked the CCTV footage and found two men wearing masks and holding weapons roaming in the area at night.Though residents didn’t file a formal complaint, police assured them that they would intensify night patrols.
