Masked thieves stole about $7,000 worth of Labubu dolls from a store in La Puente, California, on August 6. The suspects, who used a stolen truck, took all the store’s inventory.

A group of masked thieves stole about $7,000 worth of Labubu dolls from a store in La Puente, California, according to the Associated Press. The incident happened on the morning of August 6.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said the suspects used a stolen Toyota Tacoma during the burglary, which was later recovered.

Investigations into the incident were underway.

A video, shared by USA Today, showed the moment thieves barged into the store and committed theft.

Labubu dolls, created by Hong Kong-born artist Kasing Lung, have become highly sought-after collectables since their debut a decade ago.

Toy vendor One Stop Sales, the targeted store, mentioned in an Instagram post that the thieves took all of its inventory and trashed the premises.

Surveillance footage posted by the store showed individuals in hoodies and face coverings breaking in, rifling through items, and carrying boxes out.

“We are still in shock," the store wrote, urging the public to help identify the culprits.
